Coming in 2012

There is a big change coming this September to National Quartet Convention in Louisville, KY! The NQC has partnered with the Southern Gospel Music Guild for a new event and is eager to announce the creation of the NQC Music Awards! The brand new awards presentation will be a welcome addition to the annual weeklong gospel music celebration held September 9-15, 2012.

Final details and arrangements are still being determined for the awards, but fans are sure to be buzzing when all is revealed. One reason for excitement is the new format allowing the fans to vote for their favorite artists! A total of 12 categories will be decided by fan vote, with another 7 awards to be voted on by NQC exhibitors and SGMG members.

Voting for the NQC Music Awards is open to all fans and requires only a subscription to the NQC e-mail newsletter. All fans subscribed to the e-newsletter will receive a ballot that can be easily completed and returned via e-mail. The date for voting to open has yet to be determined. The NQC Music Awards are currently scheduled to be part of the Friday Showcase Spectacular.
