Congratulations Eric Phillips on your graduation from the 148th basic session of NEALEA!!
Eric's training lasted from August 16 through November 5, 2009 (480 hours). There were 36 graduates and Eric was 9th in his class with a 92.136 average.
Eric received the most prestigious Director's Award. It reads: "This certificate is presented to Eric D. Phillips for displaying a high potential of leadership and achievement, a keen interest in all aspects of law enforcement and academy operations, and his efforts and dedication in maintaining rapport, morale, and camaraderie among fellow class member of the 148th basic session."
This award is voted on by the faculty, staff and all the other class members. Chief Crouch, Gadsden Police Department, attended the ceremony. He told Eric that in his 8 years as Chief only 2 other Gadsden police officers had received this award.
