NQC Schedule | 2018

 

MTQ will be involved in the following programs during NQC week... 

Sunday Night
MTQ will be singing at the bonus concert Sunday night with Tim Lovelace, Jim Brady Trio, Hoppers, Greater Vision and Tribute.

Monday Night | 8:21 PM

MTQ sings Monday night on Main Stage and Mark will also be a part of the Kingsmen Reunion segment on Main Stage. 

Tuesday Morning | 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Mark will be speaking at the Chapel Service with Greater Vision bringing the music.  Chapel is always free admission!  Join us for this special time of worship and learning 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM at the LeConte Center.

Tuesday Afternoon | 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Mark will sing with the Second Half Quartet at the SGMA Hall of Fame Induction & Benefit Concert featuring: Guardians, Jim Brady Trio, Hoppers, Kingdom Heirs, Karen Peck & New River, Second Half Qt., Triumphant, Tribute and Whisnants.  Hosted by Jerry Goff. Honoring the Hall of Fame inductees of 2017: Troy Burns, Randy Shelnut, LaBreeska Hemphill and Tony Greene. 

Wednesday Morning | 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
MTQ will be singing at the Wednesday morning Chapel Service!  Dr. Hollie Miller will be bringing a message from the Word as we gather for this special time of worship and teaching.  Chapel services are always free and will begin at 10:00 AM and end at 11:30 AM.

Wednesday Night | 8:45 PM

Mark will be singing with the Second Half Quartet on Main Stage Wednesday.  They will have a longer performance time on stage than on other nights – don’t miss it!

Thursday Night | 8:17 PM
MTQ will be singing Thursday night on Main Stage at the National Quartet Convention!  Thursday, MTQ will also have a longer performance.

Friday Afternoon | 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
MTQ will be a part of the Matinee Extravaganza Friday afternoon at the LeConte Center!  Join them and the Booth Brothers, McKameys, Kingdom Heirs, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, Second Half Qt., Hoppers, Greater Vision and the Jim Brady Trio at this showcase!  Ticket required.  1:30 PM – 3:30 PM.

Friday Evening | 7:38 PM

Mark will be singing on Main Stage with the Second Half Quartet Friday night.

Saturday Afternoon | 1:15 PM - 3:15 PM

MTQ will be a part of the Tribute to the Gospel Singing Jubilee with the Perrys, Nelons, Dr. Tim Hill, Mark Trammell Qt., Tribute, 2nd Half Quartet, Joseph Habedank, Inspirations, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, Kim Hopper and Blackwood Brothers.

Saturday Evening | 8:59 PM and 10:12 PM

MTQ will sing on Main Stage on Saturday night at the National Quartet Convention.  Also, Nick will be a part of the Perry's Reunion on Main Stage at 7:14 pm and Mark will be a part of the Gold City Reunion! 

NQC is expecting to bring in 40,000 people over the week...folks are even coming from 13 different countries!  If you plan on attending, you'll be happy to know that this year we have implemented staggered seating in the main hall.  That means you will still see the stage even if someone tall sits in front of you!  Throughout the week, I encourage you to keep up with us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.  We'll be posting photos throughout the day and into the evenings every day to share our week with you all.  We hope you can join us in Pigeon Forge for this memorable week!

It's Here! Great Moments...

Over the last several months I've been sharing that a new CD is on its way.  Today, it's no longer in the "coming" stage - it's here!  I can't wait for you to hear this new project, Great Moments.  When we went in the studio, we took ten songs that are pillars of this music and recorded them in their original arrangements.  You'll recognize every one!  It's truly been a part of my heart and I know when you hear the music and recall the memories they bring to mind, it will be a part of your heart too.
